Chelsea keeper Petr Cech to undergo Arsenal medical TODAY ahead of £10.9m transfer

PETR CECH will reportedly undergo a medical today ahead of his move to Arsenal.

The Chelsea keeper has already settled on personal terms while the two clubs have come to an agreement on a £10.9m fee.

It was claimed by Sky Sports yesterday that Cech would have his medical next week but BBC  journalist David Ornstein reports the tests will be conducted today. 

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has granted long-serving Cech the move to their title rivals despite Jose Mourinho's reluctance.

And skipper John Terry this week admitted Cech will give Arsenal a boost in the Premier League title race.

MEDICAL: Petr Cech is reportedly set to undergo the final stage of his move to Arsenal today 

He said: "Peter will strengthen them for sure. He will save them 12-15 points a season.

Cech's move to the Emirates Stadium is set to bring a swift end to David Ospina's Arsenal career.

The Colombian keeper joined from Nice last summer but is now expected to move to Turkish club Fenerbahce.
